The Queen — Bespoke 14K Solid Gold Waist Bead

The Queen is a fully bespoke solid-gold waist bead, individually composed to reflect your story, your milestones, and the woman you have become.

Every Queen begins with a foundation of 14K solid gold, with 18K gold available by request. Your design may be created in yellow, white, or rose gold and may include natural gemstones, diamonds, meaningful charms, lettering, or other personal elements—or it may be composed entirely in solid gold.

No two Queen designs are alike. This is not a fixed design reproduced for every client. It is a private commission created expressly for the woman who will wear it.

The Story Behind The Queen

Waist beads are among my favorite pieces to create because they can hold meaning that is deeply personal to the woman wearing them.

I created my own Queen waist bead to honor my journey as a mother of two adult children and to represent growth, survival, and the strength it took to become the woman I am today. My design incorporated my children's birthstones, natural gemstones, black diamonds, and the word "QUEEN."

That design is one expression of The Queen—not a template every woman must follow.

Your design may include the now available solid 14k gold "QUEEN," another meaningful word, initials, or no lettering at all. Gemstones and charms are also optional. Every selection is made according to your story, your preferences, and the design we create together.

Your Private Design Experience

Every Queen commission begins with a private consultation.

During our conversation, we will discuss what you would like your piece to represent, your preferred gold color and karat, your desired composition, and any gemstones, diamonds, charms, words, initials, or personal details you would like considered.

Once your vision has been established, I personally source and hand-select the materials for quality, color, proportion, and balance. Your Queen is then individually composed around the decisions we have made together.

Materials and Craftsmanship

The standard foundation of The Queen is 14K solid gold. An 18K solid-gold composition is available by request.

Your commission may be created in yellow, white, or rose gold—or in a thoughtfully selected combination of gold colors. Solid 14K gold letter beads are also available when lettering is desired.

The precise gold beads, chain, clasp, gemstones, diamonds, charms, and design elements will be selected and confirmed during your consultation. Because each piece is individually designed and natural gemstones possess their own characteristics, every completed Queen will be unique.

Starting Price and Final Investment

The Queen begins at $4,500 for a baseline solid 14K gold design. This is not necessarily the full price of your completed waist bead — your final investment will be determined by your measurement, chosen gold karat and color, quantity and weight of gold, selected gemstones or diamonds, personalization, sourcing requirements, and overall design complexity.

No materials will be ordered and no creation will begin until your design details, final investment, and estimated completion time have been discussed and approved.

Consultation Policy

Booking a private design consultation requires a $200 consultation fee. If you move forward with your Queen commission, this $200 is fully credited toward your $4,500 starting price — you will not pay it twice.

If, after your consultation, you decide not to move forward with a commission, the $200 is nonrefundable and reflects the time, attention, and expertise invested in your personalized design conversation.

Sizing

Your exact measurement and preferred placement will be discussed and confirmed during your consultation.

For an initial measurement, wrap a flexible measuring tape directly around the area of your bare waist where you would like the piece to rest. Stand naturally with your stomach relaxed, and allow enough room for comfortable movement and breathing.

Please do not use your clothing size as your waist-bead measurement.

Creation and Insured Delivery

Most Queen commissions require approximately 14 business days for creation after the design, materials, final investment, and measurement have been approved.

Specialized sourcing or more complex compositions may require additional time. Your estimated completion time will be confirmed before creation begins.

Once completed, please allow approximately two to four business days for delivery within the continental United States. All solid-gold orders are insured and require a signature upon delivery.

Luxury Presentation

Your Queen will arrive in a 9 × 9-inch white wooden lacquer presentation box with a soft grey velvet interior, accompanied by Waisted Gems branded presentation materials.

The presentation is designed to honor the significance of the piece and make it ready for luxury gift-giving.

Manufacturing Warranty and Continuing Care

Any verified manufacturing defect reported within 30 days of purchase will be repaired on a complimentary basis.

Repair, adjustment, and resizing services remain available after that period following an assessment. Reasonable charges may apply for accidental damage, normal wear, resizing, later repairs, or requested design changes.

Care instructions will be included with your finished piece.

A Note About the Piece Shown
The founder's personal waist bead shown in the photographs and video was created in 2023 using 14K gold-filled letter beads with solid 14K gold elements. At that time, solid-gold lettering was not available for the design.

The commission offered through this listing is priced for construction in solid 14K gold—including "QUEEN" or any other personalized verbiage you choose to have added to your waist bead. Alternative materials, including 14K gold-filled or sterling silver, may be discussed and selected during the private design process. Any change in materials will be reflected in the final design and pricing.
