In 2009 I began making waist beads as a form of pass time. It wasn't long after that I realized that I don't have to make my waist beads using the typical components that were normally used. I wanted beads that reflected me as an individual. From that moment I sourced and purchased natural crystals, along with solid 14k gold beads and findings, and made my first waist beads using natural crystals and 14k gold beads. I named the waist beads Grown Woman Shit! The way I saw it was, I'm grown and I don't want to wear glass beads around my waist. I wanted to wear something around my waist that matched me and my personality and lifestyle. From then I started making my waist beads using natural crystals and precious metals. It wasn't long before I realize there was a customer base for those who want and expect a quality product. Recently I decided to design my waist beads, bracelets, and necklaces on a strong chain for added durability.
